Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Incorporated (BLE) representatives were present at the Blackwell Hall
Additions at the Mars Hill University in Mars Hill,North Carolina to perform a double ring infiltration test
(ASTM D3385-09) within the proposed location of the Stormtech system. The infiltration tests were
performed by our Mr. Colm O'Doherty, P.E. on April 16, 2024. The testing location was established by
members of Vannoy Construction in the northeast corner of the site in accordance with drawing C-04 dated
August 17,2023,provided by Davis Civil Solutions.A seven-foot-deep test pit was completed at the testing
location in order to match the bottom excavation of the proposed Stormtech system.The data and associated
graphical results are attached. Based on the results of the testing the stormwater retention area would be
expected to exhibit an infiltration rate of approximately 0.06 inches per hour.
