Your assistance with this inspection was greatly appreciated. Below is a list of findings and recommendations developed from the inspection: 1. The subject permit was reissued and became effective June 01, 2013 and will expire May 31, 2018. Request for permit renewal is required 180 days prior to permit expiration date. 2. Oldcastle Precast Inc. is manufacture of precast concrete reinforced pipe (CRP). All manufacturing takes place inside a closed building. Various sizes of CRP are stockpiled in the yard. Water from a well is pumped up to a motor that crushes stone. The water cools the motor and is then discharged into a hose where it flows to a drain located in the transfer pit. The water is conveyed through buried stormwater pipe into a sediment basin. Discharge from the basin flows into an unnamed tributary to Swift Creek. 3. There are no chemicals added to the well water. Readings for pH are kept on a file in a computer. . Temperature is not recorded however you stated that temperature will be recorded. I would like to thank you for their time and assistance with this inspection.
