Even though we have maintained the permit, we have never managed to get the system engineered properly. and do not discharge in this manner. We hope to use this system someday. It was a clerical error, however regarding the renewal. I think the secretary was just accustomed to sending in the annual fee, thinking that is all that was required. We will rectify the situation soon. Ironically someone from your office even inspected the system recently, (Wes Bell). CoC NCG500308 was issued for your facility at 801 West Central Avenue in Mount Holly, NC. The CoC covered the discharge of non -contact cooling water. The CoC was renewed in 1997 and 2002. The CoC expired in 2007 and has not been renewed. We sent a renewal notice to you in November 2006, but no renewal application was ever submitted. Any wastewater discharge from the facility is ILLEGAL in the absence of a wastewater permit. The annual fees for the CoC have been faithfully paid since 2007, so no past due fees are required.
