The Glens at Brightwood Landing, 1920 Brightwood School Rd. Greensboro, NC
Reviewer:
Brightwood Partners, LLC proposes to develop the 8.76 acres at 1920 Brightwood School
Road (known as The Glens at Brightwood Landing). Brightwood Partners proposes to install
approximately 111.64 LF of the proposed 8" DIP sanitary sewer outfall to cross the Stream
Riparian Buffer and wetland as an outfall interconnection to serve the referenced subdivision.
This project is in the North Buffalo Watershed Area and is subject to Jordan Lake Stream
Buffer regulations. The layout we have proposed for the interconnecting outfall is
designed to have the least amount of impact to the stream buffers by crossing the stream
as perpendicular as possible. Anywhere this outfall parallels the stream, it is located outside
of the buffers. Take note that the impacted area will comprise of a 30' Temporary and 10'
Permanent Impact to install the proposed 8" DI sewer pipe below grade; grading of the rear of
lots 20 and 21; and partial disturbance of wetland to construct a postal kiosk for the
subdivision. The project is not located within a flood plain.
