SW TSS Abatement&Maintenance Quarterly Report(January-March 2024)
Dear Jerry,
With limited operations at the Charlotte facility,the filter insert changeout schedule was
reviewed and updated for CY2024. Filters will continue to be checked and changed as
necessary.
Due to ceased melt&casting operations,many of the BMPs are no longer applicable. Charlotte
Pipe will continue the following BMPs:
• Pump stormwater sumps from the charging area and scrap yard to WWTP for
treatment;and
• Inspect,maintain&replace drain/sock inserts, as needed, around the facility.
Please find attached the Filter Insert Maintenance Schedule for CY2024. An'@' represents a that
the filter insert was checked but not changed;yellow highlight indicates the proposed to
change. The most recent analytical results available is from sampling conducted in December
2023 (July-December 2023). Follow-up sampling will be conducted during the January-June
2024 timeframe.
