Hello, I m sorry it has taken a bit to get back to you, we were out of town with a death in the family. I have attached some pictures of our current situation and how our neighbor remedied hers. In order to meet where it is hanging over the height is around two feet. Almost our whole shoreline for the property needs shoring up. That would be 50 ft in length. Again, sorry for the delay, my husband is still out of town and this is totally not my wheelhouse. Have a great day, Kelly Keith Kelly Keith Carolina Towing & Transport of N.C., Inc 8286654357 P.O. I wanted to follow up to see if you have been able to gather the information, I requested to finish reviewing your stabilization project? I just need an updated drawing showing total linear ft of bank that will be stabilized. I am assuming the bottom of the lake at your shoreline dose not slope that steeply and the riprap will be placed at the bottom of the lake at your shoreline, up to where the bank is undercut. If that is accurate, please let me know and just include the height of the proposed riprap to be installed. HI Mr. Hanbury, Thank you for contacting me. My husband just sketched that quickly and didn't realize all the information he needed to include. There is a gentleman named Rick Pennington that does a lot of shoreline remediation at Santeetlah, I will reach out to him and submit the correct information. Kind regards, Kelly Keith Kelly Keith Carolina Towing & Transport of N.C., Inc ` 8286654357 P.O. The below project plan drawing doesn't accurately represent the proposed project plan. A handwritten drawing is sufficient, as long as it depicts a profile (something like below) view of the work proposed, as well as one showing the width of impact (i.e. total linear ft.) of shoreline to be stabilized. Please label all elements of the plan (e.g., riprap, high water mark, relative bottom/depth of lake, etc.). Also, in the below drawing, is there fill being added below the riprap? Does the bottom of the lake slope that steeply? If so, the proposed plan shown here is not going to work, the riprap will erode into the bottom of the lake and become unauthorized fill, which I cannot approve. Also, please provide some relatively accurate information on the depth of the lake at your shoreline in reference to where riprap will be placed.
