Dear Mr. Potts:
The Division of Water Quality (the Division) received your site plan and correspondence of December 5,
2008 stating your intent to store ethanol in bulk at the subject facility. A permit modification will not be
necessary.
We understand that you intend to store this new fuel product in existing Tank #14, serviced by a new
ethanol truck off-loading drive rack and appurtenant piping. Please monitor and report any potential
environmental impact by spill or leakage as mandated by your existing Water Pollution Prevention Plan
under the subject NPDES permit. Again, the Division feels that these facility additions and alterations do
not warrant modifying your existing permit to discharge via permitted Outfall 001.
