Sullins, Director Division of Water Quality November 28, 2007 DWQ Project # 06-1214, Ver. 2 Wake County Mr. Tim Smith 100 Weston Estates Way Cary, North Carolina 27513 Subject Property: Tract F of Woodcreek (formerly Wild Acres) UT to Middle Creek [030403, 27-43-15-(1), C, NSW] APPROVAL OF STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN Dear Mr. Smith: On January 31, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a 401 Water Quality Certification and Neuse River Basin Buffer Authorization to impact the following as described in your modified application dated January 1 1, 2007 for the purpose of constructing the Woodcreek Residential Subdivision: • 0.49 acres of wetland (0.37 acres permanent impact, 0.12 acres. temporary impact), • 345 :linear feet of perennial stream (255 linear feet permanent impact, 901inear feet temporary impact), • 231 linear feet of intermittent stream (2091inear feet permanent impacts, 221inear feet temporary impact), • 43,348 square feet (ft2) of protected Zone 1 Neuse River basin riparian buffer, and • 27,817 square feet (ftZ) of protected Zone 2 Neuse. In order to meet Condition 7 of the 401 Certification for this project, a stormwater management plan pertinent to Tract F of Woodcreek Subdivision was received by the DWQ on November 1, 2007 and a revised stormwater management plan was received by the DWQ on November 27, 2007. This Plan has been reviewed and satisfies the stormwater management conditions of the 401 Water Quality Certification. The structural stormwater practices as approved by DWQ as well as drainage patterns must be maintained in perpetuity. No changes to the structural stormwater practices shall be made without written authorization from the Division of Water Quality. Stormwater easements shall be recorded for a distance of at least 10 feet on each side of all stormwater conveyances on all lots containing these structures including future access for maintenance.
