Jennifer, 3 When applying for first time permit coverage, unfortunately we are only able to accept a paper check. Sending the check separate from the application will not be a problem, however, please note that review of the application cannot begin until all application items have been received. In the check memo line, you may reference the facility name used on the application so that we can tie it to the application. The processing time for application review varies as this depends on whether additional information is needed during the review as well staff availability. Generally, a draft permit will not be ready for at least 6 months. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Brianna, GE Aerospace is submitting the attached permit application for a new NPDES stormwater permit as a separate entity and owner/operator from Global Nuclear Fuels-Americas, LLC, currently covered under permit number NCS000022. We are submitting a hard copy of the forms and supporting documents to you at 1612 MSC, Raleigh, NC 27699-1612. With regards to the$1200 industrial NPDES individual permit fee, it appears that a check is the only form of payment accepted by NC DENR. Is this correct? Due to our check issuance policy, the check will be sent directly to NC DENR; we will not be able to send it with the hardcopy permit application submittal. Is there a submittal reference number we should indicate on the check so that it can be associated with this application? Also, what is the expected processing time for review of this permit application? 4 Please reach out with any questions regarding this submittal.
