DWR understands the USACE has opted to withdraw the permit application pending a response to
the request for additional information. As such, the application (DWR Project #20240382) remains
in complete in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .0502. DWR will continue to place the project on -
hold until a response is received, and review can continue.
Pursuant to 40 CFR Part 121.6., DWR is required to respond to a 401 application within the
established federal Reasonable Period of Time, 180 days from receipt of the application. The federal
reasonable period of time for DWR to review the application will end on August 31, 2024. Please feel
