Dear Mr. Pugh:
On November 28, 2007, the NC Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received five (5) sets of the permit application for the above
referenced project. An Individua1404 Permit will be required for this project. Please note that the following must be received prior to
issuance of a 401 Water Quality Certification:
1. The 401 Certification cannot be processed until a copy of the Corps of Engineers Public Notice for this project is received at the
DWQ Central Office in Raleigh. No action is required on your part. The Corps of Engineers will forward the Public Notice to
this Office when it is published.
Until the information requested in this letter is provided, I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of Engineersplace this
project on hold. Also, this project will be placed on hold for our processing due to incomplete information (15A NCAC 2H .0507(h)).
