Subject: Kinder Morgan Repairs (DWR-14-0883) in Gaston County
Dear Sir/Madam:
This letter is being sent as a follow-up to projects conducted by Kinder Morgan, on the Plantation
Pipe Line, in the Charlotte District in 2014 and serves as notification to the District following
completion of the work. Kinder Morgan and CH2M HILL conducted field investigations in 2014 in
North Carolina. The projects (See Attachment A) were for pipeline anomaly repairs completed under
authorization of Nationwide Permit 3. The repairs resulted in minor temporary encroachment into a
regulated water. Surface contours were restored and stabilized, as needed, following the work.
Repair work complied with all NWP General and Regional Conditions and with Clean Water Act
Section 401 water quality requirements.
