The access road will need to be curb and gutter due to the space constraints. I will be removing the ditch from the design. After further investigation of the drainage along Jule Noland Drive, I will not be able to connect the storm water from drainage area 44. The connection would lead back to the existing 24" culvert under Jule Noland Drive that will be extended to the wetland. I am currently seeking alternatives. Wanda Austin On Fri, May 1, 2015 at 12:44 PM, Higgins, Karen <karen.hi ins o,ncdenr.gov> wrote: Hi Wanda - We wanted to follow up with you from our discussion on Tuesday regarding the outparcel and how to treat the 18' access road runoff until the outparcel is developed. • Assuming that the stormwater runoff from the western half of the access road will flow in a westerly direction across the wetland area in a diffuse manner, we can consider that portion of the road runoff treated. • For the ditch on the east side of the access road draining in a northeasterly direction, we can consider that flow (1/2 of the road runoff) treated if it flows to outparcel 41 and spreads in a diffuse manner over a non - ditched, vegetated portion of that 0.74 acre area. • When the stormwater management plan for outparcel 41 is developed, the flow volume from the eastern side of the access road must be included in the treatment for outparcel 41 runoff. • This is all contingent upon no additional flow running into the ditch on the eastern side of the access road (as we discussed on Tuesday).
