Pinnix'; Nevills, Matthew; King, Morella s; Tharrington, Tom Subject: Brunswick County - Fairway Acres LPSS Extension WQ0045116 A review of the application and supporting documents for the subject application has been completed in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T .0107. Please provide the additional or revised information for the following comments, in order for the office to complete the review: 1. Anti -floatation / buoyancy calculations signed and sealed by a PE to determine the required concrete ballast were not submitted in support of the detail of the simplex grinder pump stations on sheet LPS1.2, as required by 15A NCAC 02T .305 (2)(b). Please provide. 2. The pressure sewer design analysis calculations that were submitted were not signed and sealed by a PE as required by 15A NCAC 02T .305 (2)(b). Also, the pressure sewer design analysis submitted indicates a C factor of 140 being utilized, but the NCDENR Minimum Design Criteria for Pump Stations And Force Mains requires analysis for an end -of -service for the pressure sewer system utilizing a C factor of 120. Please provide. 3. The proposed 8-inch gravity sewer main at approximately Station 3+05, as shown on profile sheet C5.2, crosses under an existing water main and the minimum vertical separation is not labeled. While there appears to be adequate minimum vertical separation proposed between the two mains, please denote / label the proposed vertical separation on the engineering plans. A response to the above comments is considered required in order to proceed with the review of the application and issuance of the permit. If a complete response is not received within 30 days, the application and supporting documents will be returned to you in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2). Please feel free to provide digital copies of these revised documents and supporting information to me via email along with hardcopies via mail. Please let me know if you have any questions. Dale H.
