John, I apologize for not includingyou on the distribution of the subject project review e-mail that I sent out back on March 6t". As you know, the permit applicant on this project is Brunswick County; therefore, I typically send my review comments only to the applicant's representative (in this case William (Bill) Pinnix with Brunswick County) and the project engineer as listed on the permit application, which is Ashley as Zac indicated in my absence. I typically send out a follow-up e-mail, if we do not hear back from the project engineer or the permit applicant after the 30-day required response period has expired, but in this case the 30 day response period does not expire tillApril5t" Division records indicate this permit application package was initially received by the Division on February 2, 2024 and by regulation, the Division has up to 90 days after the project permit application and supporting documents are received and deemed complete, to conduct the review of the project and issue a permit. In the case of this project, the application package is not complete as noted in the March 6t" e-mail, I sent to Ashley and copied to Bill. Once I receive a complete response to the March 6t" e-mail project review comments, I will work to move this project forward. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Dale. H. Please provide the additional or revised information for the following comments, in order for the office to complete the review: 1. Anti -floatation / buoyancy calculations signed and sealed by a PE to determine the required concrete ballast were not submitted in support of the detail of the simplex grinder pump stations on sheet LPS1.2, as required by 15A NCAC 02T .305 (2)(b). Please provide. 2. The pressure sewer design analysis calculations that were submitted were not signed and sealed by a PE as required by 15A NCAC 02T .305 (2)(b). Also, the pressure sewer design analysis submitted indicates a C factor of 140 being utilized, but the NCDENR Minimum Design Criteria for Pump Stations And Force Mains requires analysis for an end -of -service for the pressure sewer system utilizing a C factor of 120. Please provide. 3. The proposed 8-inch gravity sewer main at approximately Station 3+05, as shown on profile sheet C5.2, crosses under an existing water main and the minimum vertical separation is not labeled. While there appears to be adequate minimum vertical separation proposed between the two mains, please denote / label the proposed vertical separation on the engineering plans. A response to the above comments is considered required in order to proceed with the review of the application and issuance of the permit. If a complete response is not received within 30 days, the application and supporting documents will be returned to you in accordance with 15A NCAC 02T.0107(e)(2). Please feel free to provide digital copies of these revised documents and supporting information to me via email along with hardcopies via mail. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am representing the buyer of the property that this permit is needed for. Can you please update me on the status of the sewer permit for this property? This is the final permit needed to close. I understand that there was some sort of mix-up when the application was submitted to Tyler in the Wilmington office on 12/7 and you did not receive it until 2/2. Any update to the progress of this application would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Michael J.
