Permit: WQ0003902 Owner - Facility: City of Newton
Inspection Date: 04/03/2024 Inspection Type: Annual Report Review Reason for Visit: Routine
Inspection Summary:
This is an Annual Report Review (AR). A site visit will be conducted on a separate date.
SAR and PAN values with populated formulas were presented in the AR for all four quarters.
The PAN and SAR values are within permit limits.
The Chain of Custody's (C.O.C.) continue to not display a method of preservation. This needs to be corrected. Lab sample
receiving notes indicate the receiving temepratures are within the required temperature upon receipt of the sludge samples.
Although the C.O.C. does not have a section to indicate preservation method, a simple hand written note on the C.O.C. will
satisfy the requirement of indicating method of preservation.
