There are total of nine borings proposed, four on land and five in the water. A track -mounted drill rig will be mobilized to the site for the roadway and bridge end bent borings located on the
west and east of the proposed alignment. On water, the remaining five borings for the proposed interior bents will require the use of a floating aluminum barge that will be spudded into the
mudline during drilling. A drill rig will be placed on the barge.
