The Division of Water Resources (DWR) has performed a review of a 401 Water Quality Certification application received
on November 4, 2015 for the above referenced project. The DWR has determined that your application is incomplete
and cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until the following information is received:
1. The impact table was labelled as open water impacts on the application form. Please submit an updated Impact
Table changing the open water impacts to stream impacts (page 4 of the application)
2. Coordinate with the US Army Corps of Engineers to determine the appropriate Nationwide Permit (NWP) and/or
Regional General Permit for the project. Please send DWR this information so we can determine the
corresponding Water Quality General Certification number. A NWP 18 as listed on the application would not be
applicable for this project.
3. Please provide an updated planting plan and typical detail for the proposed abandoned river access stabilization
site.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502, the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper
consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received within 30 calendar days of receipt of
this email, the DWR will be unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this project will
necessitate reapplication to the DWR for approval, including a complete application package and the appropriate fee.
