Equalization (4.5MG) will be added at the facility and the pumping rate will increase to 500 gpm upon completion of the project. This project is expected to be complete.before enough paperflow can be converted to actual flow to exceed the permitted capacity. Therefore: Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of' over-allocating capacity in the system infrastructure. 1 understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143- 215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste disposal system. u Srgnhng Official Signature Date Page 3 of 6 rrQ r i()-I e NORTH CAROLINA PUBLIC STAFF NC,De UTILITIES COMMISSION ;nt°fEnvX0111;1enl11 Qumity November 30, 2023 IAN Y b 20?4 Mr. Zachary Payne Carolina Water Service, Inc. of North Carolina Raly-Lo .1 D, ,lr, 4821 Fairview Road, Suite 401 Charlotte, North Carolina 28209 RE: Carolina Water Service, Inc. of North Carolina Docket No, W-354, Sub 427 Notification of Intention to Begin Operations in Area Contiguous to Present Service Area — Winston Pointe Phases 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, and 3G, Johnston County Dear Mr. Payne: The North Carolina Utilities Commission has received a Notification of Intention to Begin Operations in Area Contiguous to Present Service Area filed by Carolina Water Service, Inc. of North Carolina (CWSNC) to provide water and wastewater utility service to Winston Pointe Phases 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, and 3G in Johnston County, North Carolina.
