Comments: - Final permanent impact numbers are adjusted in the impact table. -There will be no temporary impacts (temporary diversion) outside the restoration permanent impact length. -Access to the stream on the north and south ends are only allowed within the existing prior filled areas from the past. The access roads will not be expanded. Wetland areas will be flagged "Do Not Enter" and be understood with the contractor upfront. There will be no impacts to wetlands outside of the footprint of the existing access roads. Mud mats will be used, and silt fencing along each side of the access road on the north side. Mud mats will also be used on the south side access. -Update: There will be only one stockpile area located in uplands on TNC property in a graveled area near the powerline off William T. Calloway Road. I apologize for impact number confusion double counting enhancement. There are various interpretations of restoration and enhancement. I wanted to be sure I included it all and learned later I over counted. Also, the other numbers are specifics for contractors and are not total impacts. The permanent impact numbers are the totals given in the table above. I agreed to be the permitting applicant because the costs for this task were not in our partner budget. The design plans I sent you are true and confirmed on the ground as of our onsite meeting on March 28, 2024. We do not have funding available to replace the contractor impact table with the permit impact table in the January 2024 plans. The remaining funding is needed for restoration. Please use the permit impact table in this PCN above and below. The plans have been revised several times since 2020 as this project grew to try to stabilize the historically mined and altered stream system to re-establish stability in the stream banks and riparian buffers to help prevent sedimentation and erosion to improve water quality, protect the wetlands, and to benefit the aquatic resources and the landowners.
