Dear Mr. Kelly,
I am currently reviewing your stabilization project titled Keith Santeetlah shoreline stabilization, DWR#
20240381, but am unable to complete the project review and approval with the information I have received.
The below project plan drawing doesn't accurately represent the proposed project plan. A handwritten drawing
is sufficient, as long as it depicts a profile (something like below) view of the work proposed, as well as one
showing the width of impact (i.e. total linear ft.) of shoreline to be stabilized. Please label all elements of the
plan (e.g., riprap, high water mark, relative bottom/depth of lake, etc.). Also, in the below drawing, is there fill
being added below the riprap? Does the bottom of the lake slope that steeply? If so, the proposed plan shown
here is not going to work, the riprap will erode into the bottom of the lake and become unauthorized fill, which I
cannot approve. Also, please provide some relatively accurate information on the depth of the lake at your
shoreline in reference to where riprap will be placed.
