Subject: ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT AND
REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Stormwater Project No. SW8 981039'Modification
Hampton Inn Southport
Brunswick County
Dear Mr.Lovingood:
The Wilmington Regional Office received a modification to the Stormwater Management Permit
Application for Hampton Inn Southport on October 14, 1999. A preliminary review of that information has
determined that the application is not complete. The following information is needed to continue the
stormwater review:
1. Please submit revised pond calculations. The original drainage area to the pond was permitted
as 2.65 acres. This modification proposes to increase the drainage area to 3.10 acres. The revised
calculations must demonstrate that the surface area and volume provided still complies with the
design criteria based on the revised drainage area.
2. Please delineate the entire 3.1 acre drainage area and provide an overall map that includes the
adjacent lot, all bearings and distances.
3. Please note that under Section I, Part 2 of the application, the owner's title must be provided.
This has consistently been left off in recent submissions.
4. Delineate all wetlands on site,or note on the plans that none exist.
5. These plans will replace those previously approved, therefore, all information needed on a new
set of plans must be on the modified plans. Please add the dimensions for the permanent pool
contour.
6. . Please note on the plans that all roof drainage must be directed into the pond.
7. The signature page of the supplement form was not sealed by the Notary Public.
8. Please add the dimensions of the proposed hotel building to the plans.
9. Did you purchase all of the original project area?I ask this to make sure that you have the legal
right to deed restrict the future development accounted for in the pond.
