Riprap at pipe outlets, ditches, and streambanks has been incorporated to minimize erosion on slopes where vegetation will not be adequate. 1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: NCDOT standards for ground cover, vegetation, and slope stabilization will be adhered to during the life of this project, and will be specified in the NCDOT Erosion and Sediment Control Plan for the project. Equipment will be kept from entering the stream channel and appropriate erosion and sediment controls will be installed and maintained. All other NCDOT best management practices will be utilized. 2.
