Hi Amie, I had to put this down and walk away @ Circling back up. • The Sketch Is correct. There are no changes to the measurements of the height of the bank. • The new permit should not be switched. It should be 5' above 760 = 131 sgft. And 1' below 760' = 655sgft = 0.02 acres. • Sketch is correct and work is still the same - as stated in the approval letter. • The access is the same • Wayne Cherry 8730 Harbor Circle Terrell, NC 28682 I am sorry, I am back tracking from 5 months ago ... Trying to get this corrected. (FYI -DUKE doesn't allow new vertical seawalls to be installed. Only lots with existing seawalls maybe replaced.) Thankyou so much! So the sketch is not correct and you will need to complete a new one. Your original sketch (as seen below) was for the opposite of what you are requesting now. If you still need the temporary access, please keep that in there, but as for the measurements they are opposite of what you are requesting now. So I will need you to complete a new sketch. Your approval letter was previously done for the opposite of what you are requesting now as well, so that approval letter will not be valid for any work that you do with these measurements beingthe other way around. Amie, Let me correct this: Wayne Cherry 8730 Harbor Circle Terrell, NC 28682 The new permit should be switched. It should be 1' above 760 = 131 sgft. And 5' below 760' = 655sgft = 0.02 acres. Sketch is correct and work is still the same - as stated in the approval letter. I am learning what each of these terms mean and in what relation to the project. Thankyou foryour patience. According to GIS that property is owned by another woman and 8730 is owned by Mr. Cherry. So the new permit should be switched. It should be 1' above 760 = 131 sgft. And 5' below 760' = 655sgft = 0.02 acres. And I don't see a response to my question about howyou will be completing the work. Originally you said by land which means you need a temporary access corridor which we allow for 10' through the 50' buffer. Zone 1 = 20' Zone 2 = 30' for a total of 500sgft. If you are conducting the work by water ONLY you will not need this temporary access corridor. Hi Amie, The address of 8732 is the correct one. Thanks for that. I must have entered on the wrong line, because the 760 is high on that shoreline. The 1' impact is above the shoreline at full pond. My fault! I'm going to get this all straight eventually! Below is what you provided for me. However, the 20231471 Cherry Seawall project was permitted for Wayne Cherry at 8730 Harbor Circle Terrell, NC 28682. According to GIS, 8732 is owned by someone else. I assume it is just a typo, but I want to be sure. Wayne Cherry 8732 Harbor Circle Terrell, NC 28682 You also provided me with the new impacts. I want to verify those as well. The project was originally permitted for 655sgft ABOVE and 131 sgft (0.003 acres) BELOW. Hi Amie, Confirming changes to this application for seawall: Wayne Cherry 8732 Harbor Circle Terrell, NC 28682 *Changing from vertical seawall installation to rip rap only. *Impacts will be roughly the same, if not less than previously applied for. *Access corridor and pathways to remain the same with minimal impact to grassy area. No changes. Please let me know if you need anything else and thankyou, as always! Good Morning, If an application was approved for a vertical seawall by NCDEQ, but was not approved by DELS, as rip rap would be the only option for that property, would a new application be needed to have rip rap installed instead?
