Hi Amir and Doug,
Nice to chat with you today. Since this is a new facility without current El -Gs near a drinking water intake, I would
recommend 3 species (vertebrate, invertebrate and algae) chronic and acute testing be included in the permit on
a weekly basis until a full year of data has been captured. The permit could include a clause that after capturing at
least a year of data that includes all four seasons, the company and the state could discuss whether decreasing
the WET testing to bi weekly or monthly frequency is appropriate. There should be a discussion in the factsheet of
why the 3 species chosen for the tests are the "most sensitive species". Also, since there are so many outfalls,
specifying the sampling points would be a good idea but we can discuss that at a later date.
Please let me know if you have any other issues as they arise.
Thanks!
