Encroachment & Resolution Utility company mowed approx. 0.04 acres
adjacent to powerline right of way in 2023.
Provider ’s legal counsel contacted the
company to address the issue and receive
reimbursement for expenses incurred due to
the encroachment. Containerized trees were
planted in the mowed area and assurances
were made by the utility company that they
would stay out of the easement. Wildlands
also added additional signage.
Accepted for Transfer to Stewardship Will be assessed for suitability for acceptance
by Stewardship prior to stream closeout

Riparian Buffer Mitigation Site
The Buckwater Mitigation Site includes both riparian buffer and stream assets generating
1,099,775.073 BMUs and 12,621.934 SMUs. The site also has the ability to convert 921,967 ft2
of riparian buffer restoration to nutrient offset with the potential to generate 48,109.470 Nitrogen
credits and 3,098.622 Phosphorus credits. To date, DMS has not converted any buffer asset to
nutrient offset. The final year of the riparian buffer mitigation monitoring (MY5) was 2023.
The final year of monitoring for the stream portion of the project will be 2025, and the site is
expected to complete final IRT closeout in 2026. Credit tables, maps, MY5 vegetation plot data,
Recorded Plat, and DWR Viability Letter are attached.
Recommendation:
DMS requests credit release of 1,099,775.073 BMUs.
