In response to your Notice of Violation (NOV-2024-LV-0207), the Town of Vanceboro is working diligently
with Harry Bailey, owner of Potable Water Solutions LLC. Because of the Inability to meet the monthly
average limit on our Chlorides of 230 mg/I, the Town Is currently planning to work alongside Mr. Bailey
to move the backwash water Into our Wastewater Collection System.
We are aware that Mr. Harry Bailey has met with Robbie Bullock, Victoria Herdt, and Scott regarding this
situation with the chlorides. We would like to thank you forthe approval of the permit. The Public
Works Director and Mr. Bailey are working on plans to move the backwash water to the Wastewater
Collection System. The process should be completed soon. The Town of Vanceboro's goal Is to supply
safe drinking water to each and every customer, while protecting water and groundwater resources by
maintaining compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations.
