Dear Ms. Karoly,
I received your response letter dated November 5, 2007 to our submittal for permitting
a stream crossing in the Town of Smithfield. After consulting with the owner and contractor, I have decided
to withdraw our request for a stream crossing greater than 25' on the subject stream. I will be adjusting the
width of our driveway so that we will not disturb more than 251.f. of the subject stream. There is
considerable additional cost associated with the BMP device to satisfy the requirements you have outlined.
I will continue our review with the Town of Smithfield for the above mentioned adjustment.
