Before the undersigned, a Notary Public.of said
County and State, duly commissioned, qualified
and authorized by law to administer oaths,
personally appeared; B.J. Drye, who being
first duly sworn, deposes and says; that he is

of Albemarle, in said County and State; that
he is authorized to make this affidavit and

attached and that the said newspaper in which
such notice, paper, document or legal

Norwood WWTP The North Car-
olina Environmental Management
Commission proposes to issue a
NPDES wastewater discharge per-
mit to the person(s) listed blow
Written comments regarding the
proposed permit will be accept-
ed 30 days after the publish date
of this notice. The Director of the
NC Division of Water Resources
(DWR) may hold a public hearing
should there be a significant de-
gree of public interest Please mall
comments and/or inlormaton
requests to DWR at the above ad-
dress. Interested persons may visit
the DWR at 512 N. Salisbury Street,
Raleigh, NC 27604 to review the
information on file. Additional in-
formation on NPDES permits and
this notice may be hound on our

[phone]. The Town of Nor-
wood (EO. Box 697, Norwood, NC
28128) has applied for renewal of
NPDES permit NCDO21628 for its
Norwood WWTP in Stanly Coun-
ty. This permitted facility discharg-
es treated domestic wastewater to
the Rocky River in the Yadkin -Pee
Dee River Basin. Currently fecal
coliform and total residual chlorine
are water quality limited This dis-
charge may affect fvtnre allocations
in this portion of the receiving riv-
er.
