From Norton Road running N/S on the west side of Lake Glenville, at the NW portion of Lake Glenville, turn onto Wood
Mountain Trail. Follow approx two miles to 1679 Woods Mtn Trail on the left. GPS is accurate to property.

There is a home on the property, built in 1993, that is currently vacant due to me having some cosmetic updating done on it.
Residential, undeveloped, etc.

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
In the area of my dock, there is a little cove that is calm aside from boat waves. Over time, the root structures of the shoreline trees
in this approximate 35' stretch from the base of the dock to the rhododendron cluster to the NW is getting undermined by waves.

Native plants consisting primarily of hardwoods, pines, rhododendron, and mountain Laurel. There is no plan/expectation to
remove/damage these plants, and the crowns of the shoreline trees will not be covered with back/riprap/etc. The attached sketch
includes a proposed slight relocation of the dock, which is in the permitting process with Duke.

Application Fee:

application fee is as follows (pursuant to G.S. 143-215.3D):
o $323.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of less than 1 acre
o $767.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of greater or equal to 1 acre
