Section D: Summary of Finding/Comments (Attach additional sheets of narrative and checklists as necessary) The facility started receiving influent flow around the middle of February 2024. The current permit was set to expire on December 31, 2022. A renewal application has been submitted and the existing permit will remain effective until a new permit is issued. On the day of inspection a bypass valve around the UV disinfection system was open which allowed wastewater to potentially be discharged without disinfection. The bypass valve was removed on 3/17/2024. The effluent flow meter had not been calibrated within the past year. The ORC stated that a calibration was scheduled for the end of March 2024. NPDES Permit Standard Conditions Part II. Section D Monitoring and Records, 3 Flow Measurements - Devices selected shall be capable of measuring flows with a maximum deviation of less than 10% from the true discharge rates throughout the range of expected discharge volumes. Flow measurement devices shall be accurately calibrated at a minimum of once per year and maintained to ensure that the accuracy of the measurements is consistent with the accepted capability of that type of device.
