FACILITY SUMMARY
Seven Cedars Mobile Home Park WWTP operates a 100%domestic wastewater treatment plant for an
estimated 74 residents. The Ridge Haven WWTP is a minor facility(flow< 1 MGD)with a design capacity
and permitted wastewater discharge of 0.01 MGD. The NPDES permit was originally issued in August
1980. This facility utilizes the following treatment components:
• Bar screen
• Aeration basin with diffused air
• Clarifier with sludge return lines
• V-notch weir
• Gravel filtration tanks
• Aerated sludge holding tanks

RENEWAL SUMMARY
This renewal contains the following changes:
• Electronic data submission requirements have been updated in Part I. A. (4).
• Removed `Chlorine contact tank with tablet chlorinator' from the wastewater treatment plant
components list on the Supplement to Permit Cover Sheet based on the most recent inspection in
September 2022.
COMPLIANCE HISTORY
Seven Cedars Mobile Home Park WWTP has had two enforcements in 2022 for total suspended solids limit
violations and two enforcements in 2023 for total suspended solids limit violations and a BOD limit
violation since the permit was issued in May 2020. The facility has been issued six proceed to enforcement
cases for BOD and Total Suspended Solids limit violations since the permit was issued in May 2020. Most
recent inspection(September 2022) showed the facility to be in compliance.
COMMENTS ON DRAFT PERMIT
Jeffrey Talbott(Operator Certification Group)noted that NCO023191 is classified as a WW-11 facility in
BIMS,with several backup ORC's active and in good standing,but with no lead ORC listed.
Per 15A NCAC 08G .0201 —Responsibility of System Owners to Designate Certified Operators:
Owners of classified water pollution control systems shall designate operators certified by the Commission
of the same type and grade as the classification for the system and for each classification shall:
1) designate one ORC who possesses a valid certificate of the type and grade at least equivalent to the
type and grade of the system;
2) designate one or more Back-up ORC(s)who possesses a valid certificate of the type of the system
and no more than one grade less than the grade of the system,with the exception of no Back-up
ORC is required for systems whose minimum visitation requirements are twice per year
