Apex Companies, LLC (Apex) has prepared the attached Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) on
behalf of Southeastern Freight Lines for samples collected at the above referenced facility in Q4
2023. Samples were collected for pH, Total Suspended Solids, and Oil & Grease analysis.
Analysis of samples collected indicated no exceedances of benchmark values. A copy of the
DMRs is included as Attachments 1 & 2. The laboratory report has been included as
Attachment 3, and a photo log showing the pH measurement for these samples has been
included as Attachment 4.
Apex understands that NC DEMLR has implemented electronic reporting systems and DMRs are
to be submitted via these systems. Earlier this month, Apex coordinated with Southeastern
Freight Lines to register with NC eDMR and Southeastern Freight Lines has submitted the
applicable eDMR registration forms to DEMLR. Registration for this facility is still pending,
therefore Apex has prepared a hard-copy DMR to ensure that DEMLR has been provided with
monitoring reports as required per the permit.
