QUARTERLY NPDES COMPLIANCE SUBMITTAL-NOVEMBER 2021 EVENT
GREAT OAK LANDFILL, RANDOLPH COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
PERMIT NO. NCG120107
Dear Mr. Hiatt,
Stormwater monitoring is performed at the Great Oak Landfill under Permit No. NCG120107. The purpose of this
correspondence is to provide the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report(DMR)for the fourth quarter of 2021.
Samples were collected from outfalls Pond-3 and Pond-4. Outfall Pond-4 had an exceedance of fecal coliform
and total suspended solids(TSS). Outfalls Pond-1 and Pond-2 did not discharge during the precipitation event.
Quarterly samples for outfalls Pond-1 and Pond-2 will be collected if there is a qualifying discharge event that
results in discharge within a timeframe that would allow the submittal of the fecal coliform sample to the laboratory
within the hold time.
If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact us. We appreciate your assistance
with this project.
Sincerely,
Golder Associates NC, Inc.
