Director NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality March 13, 2024 Ms. Nicole Johnston, Executive Director Yadkin Valley Sewer Authority PO Box 828 Elkin, North Carolina 28621 Subject: NPDES Permit Technical Correction Permit NCO020567 YVSA WWTP Surry County Grade III Biological WPCS SIC Code 4952 Dear Ms. Johnston: The Division issued a final permit to your facility on March 12, 2024. In response to comments to the permit by the Town on March 12, 2024, monitoring frequencies for pH and Total Residual Chlorine (TRC) have been corrected from daily to 3/week on the effluent sheet [Section A.(1.)] per 15A NCAC 02B .0500 and consistent with previous permits as well as the current fact sheet. Accordingly, we hereby forward the corrected permit page (Pages 3 of 11). Please insert the changed page into your permit. All other terms and conditions in the original permit remain unchanged and in full effect as of April 1, 2024. This is a minor technical correction. Please note that this permit is not transferable except after notice to the Division. The Division may require modification or revocation and reissuance of the permit. This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the Division of Water Resources or any other Federal, State, or Local governmental regulations. If you have any questions concerning this permit, please contact Gary Perlmutter at (919) 707- 3611 or via email at gary.perlmutter@deq.nc.gov.
