To whom it may concern:
This letter along with the associated material in this package is being submitted for
renewal of the Butterball, LLC Residual Land Application Program for the Mt. Olive site
located in Duplin County, which is permitted under permit number WQ0006147.
It should be noted that this renewal is being done to maintain permitted status in the event
Butterball, LLC (Butterball) plans or should need to land apply residual solids. Further, if
Butterball land applies residual solids, it will obtain the required data requested by the
permit application. Given that Butterball has not land applied during this permit cycle,
much of the requested information for the permit application is not currently available.
If you have any questions or concerns about this application package, please don't hesitate
to contact me at 919-255-7900, ext., 7989.
Sincerely,
ww'm
