Dear Mr. Hiatt:
As you are aware, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County City/County Utilities Commission is monitoring
stormwater under Permit No. NCG120000 at the Hanes Mill Road Landfill located at 325 West Hanes Mill
Road in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (NC). The purpose of this correspondence is to provide the
required reporting and results for the third quarter compliance period for 2021.
Quarterly samples were collected from three of the eight compliance monitoring points (SDO-A2, SDO-J,
and SDO-3) on September 22, 2021. Outfalls SDO-F, 0S-1, 0S-2, 0S-3, and OS-4 did not have flow during
the September 22, 2021 event. The required discharge monitoring report (DMR) is attached for the
September 22, 2021, event.
