Soil Specifications:
The soil mix must be uniform and free of stones, stumps, roots, or other similar material greater than two
inches.
Soil texture of the mix should be loamy sand with no more than 10% clay (USDA soil texture classification)
A minimum organic content of 10% by dry weight for areas planted with woody species and 5% for turf areas.
The PH should be between 5.5 and 7.0. If the PH falls outside of this range, it my be modified with lime to
increase the PH or iron sulfate and sulfer to lower the PH. The lime or iron sulfate must be mixed uniformly /+� / O` \
into the soil prior to use.
