Good morning,
In reviewing your shoreline stabilization application, I will need a few additional details.
Are you using a contractor to complete the rip rap install to ensure that it is installed properly to prevent further
erosion. If so, who is the contractor, name and email address. And complete the Agent Authorization form
attached.
2. 1 will need a plan view and side view of your shoreline restoration plan, please see the attached form (Plan View
Bank Stabilization) and complete the drawing and email back to [e-mail]. It must include the
length of the shoreline and the depth of the rip rap above and below the normal pool levels. Please answer
these questions in the correct numbers on the application and show in your sketch.

I see that the work will be completed by land. You will need approval for an access corridor through the 50'
buffer. DWR allows for a 10' access corridor through the 50' buffer which would equal 500sgft total. That is 10'
wide in Zone 1 =30' x 10' wide in Zone 2 = 30' for the total of 300'x200'=500'sgft of temporary access in the
buffer that must be replanted, and no trees disturbed, damaged, or removed. Please show this on the plan view
and redo the first page of the attached Plan View Bank Stabilization with the corrected measurements. The
buffer area will be placed in the above pond disturbance along with the measurements for the riprap above full
pond level.
4. Please complete the Catawba Notification form
