MONTHLY NPDES COMPLIENCE SUBMITTAL FOR JULY AND AUGUST 2021
GREAT OAK LANDFILL, RANDOLPH COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
PERMIT NO. NCG120107
Dear Mr. Hiatt,
Stormwater monitoring is performed at the Great Oak Landfill under Permit No. NCG120107. Monthly monitoring
was initiated following consecutive exceedances of the fecal coliform benchmark at Pond-2 and Pond-3. The
purpose of this correspondence is to provide Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) for the July and
August 2021. There was no discharge in July 2021 from outfalls during a qualifying storm event within a
timeframe that would allow the submittal of the fecal coliform sample to the laboratory within the hold time.
Pond-2 and Pond-3 were sampled in August 2021, but Pond-1 and Pond-4 did not discharge within an
appropriate timeframe.
If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact us. We appreciate your assistance
with this project.
Sincerely,
Golder Associates NC, Inc.
