Notification of Stormwater Exceedance and Tier I Response
To whom it may concern:
Please find enclosed one original signed stormwater discharge monitoring report (DMR) containing a
turbidity exceedance. The stormwater sample was taken on December 1,2020. Martin Marietta received
the sample results, containing the turbidity exceedance, on December 9, 2020. The results triggered a
Tier I response for turbidity,as the sample was the first valid sample result of the period and the previous
period's sample result was below the turbidity benchmark. Staff performed a site review to identify and
evaluate possible causes of the exceedance. Implementation of actions identified during the evaluation
will be completed as required by the general permit.
