Dear Mr. Eplin,
Kelly Pipe (COC NCG030727) is providing email notification as required by NCG030000 as per benchmark exceedances.
Kelly Pipe has become aware of their benchmark exceedances for Copper at Outfall 001 and Zinc at Outfall 002 for the samples collected on February
12t" (results received on March 71n )
This will put our facility in a Tier Two Stormwater Permit Status for Copper at Outfall 001 and a Tier Three Stormwater Permit status for Zinc in the
outfalls 002.
The lab report dated 2/28/24 indicated a Copper concentration of .025 mg/I (benchmark is .010 mg/I) for Outfall 001.
The lab report dated 2/28/24 indicated a Zinc concentration of .240mg/I (benchmark is 0.126 mg/I) for Outfall 002.
We will be working this week to identify possible causes and prepare an Action Plan to submit.
