The following explanations are given to satisfy your inquiry. -The irrigation system was malfunctioning causing the treated water to return to the head of the plant and only partially dose the field. This caused the flow through the plant to be increased since the water was recirculating. The drip was turned off and manually ran daily while it was being repaired. We have since replaced all the diaphragms, valves and solenoids. It is functioning as designed now. -The condition of the 5-day upset and wet weather ponds were also a concern. The water in the 5-day upset pond is now being returned to the head of the plant so the sludge can be assessed, and a measurement pole installed. The wet weather pond was being used for excess treated water while the irrigation system was being repaired but no longer is being used. The vegetation is being cleared so the pond can be assessed. -The fecal sample on 6/28/23 exceeded the daily and monthly limit for the facility. We diverted to the 5-day upset pond and discovered that the headworks was malfunctioning and increased flow which could have lead to the high fecal result. The fecal was resampled on 7/13/23 and the result was non detectable. -The average flow was exceeded on the 7/30/23 NDMR report. At the beginning of the month it was discovered that the headworks was malfunctioning and recirculating through the plant. The irrigation systems has been repaired and the flow is in normal limits. -TKN, Nitrate, Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorous were missing from the 7/30/23 NDMR report. They were sampled on 6/28/23 but not reported. TKN=.76, Nitrate=18.1, Total Nitrogen= 18.9 and Total Phosphorous=6.2. A revised report will be submitted to include these results.
