Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune SWMU 350
I recommend that the requested minor modification, received on March 13, 2013, to extend the expiration date
of Permit Number WI0800219 (issued on March 28, 2011 and subsequently modified on September 2, 2011) be
issued to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune to inject RegenOx and ORC-A to remediate soils and groundwater
contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated organic solvents. The second permitted injection
event has not yet taken place. The original expiration date of February 28, 2013 has been extended one year to
February 28, 2014. No other changes are taking place.
REGIONAL OFFICE COMMENTS Geoff Kegley of the Wilmington Regional Office recommends issuance of
this modified permit.
