This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0059439. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this inspection report is not required. This inspection was conducted to determine whether the facility is being operated and maintained in compliance with NPDES Permit No. NC0059439. Mr. William Royal (ORC, Royal Water Works Inc.) was present and assisted with the inspection. Overall, the facility appears to be well-maintained and operated. The facility recieves very little flow and there is rarely discharge from the effluent pipe. The following items were noted during the inspection: Operations & Maintenance: The fence around the facility has been repaired since the previous inspection. Record Keeping: A copy of the NPDES permit should be kept on site at the facility. A mailbox or small containment method may be constructed for this purpose. Septic Tank: The septic tank is pumped every 3-5 years and is due to be inspected the year that this inspection was conducted. Pumping records should be maintained and accessible. The septic tank has a dosing bell rather than a high level alarm. NC0059439 17 (Cont.)
