Dear Ms. Manuel and Mr. Zhang
We have made several adjustments to the plant to try to figure out why we have had recent
spikes in Nh3 and BOD. The adjustments that we have made are, pumping the septic tank out
to get rid of old solids in the tank, cleaning the filters and increasing the recirculation time on
the effluent pumps. So far the adjustments are paying off and the numbers coming out of the
plant are much lower and in compliance.
As for the missing data, Meritech labs are not able to find the second set of data. I was sure it
was collected and even logged as collected in my log but they do not have the data. l will
correct this by collecting the samples earlier in the month so we can have time to recollect if
something happens.
