Concentrations reported are estimated values. o Parameters identified as "analyze immediately" require analysis within 15 minutes of collection. Any "analyze immediately" parameters not listed under the header "Field Parameters" are preformed in the laboratory and are therefore analyzed out of hold time. o Method references listed on this report beginning with the prefix "S" followed by a method number (such as S231013-97) refer to methods from "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater". o For microbiological analyses, the "Prepared" value is the date/time into the incubator and the "Analyzed" value is the date/time out the incubator. o An Analysis -Prep Method Cross Reference Table is included after Analytical Results & Qualifiers section in this report. o Unless otherwise noted, all quantitative results for soils are reported on a dry weight basis. Standard Acronyms/Flags J Indicates an estimated value between the Method Detection Limit (MDL) and the Practical Quantitation Limit (PQL) for the analyte U Indicates that the analyte was Not Detected (ND) above the MDL N Indicates presumptive evidence of the presence of a compound MDL Method Detection Limit PQL Practical Quantitation Limit RDL Practical Quantitation Limit for this Project ND Not Detected - indicates that the analyte was Not Detected Cntr Analysis was performed using this container RegLmt Regulatory Limit LCS Laboratory Control Sample MS Matrix Spike MSD Matrix Spike Duplicate DUP Sample Duplicate %Rec Percent Recovery RPD Relative Percent Difference LOD DoD Limit of Detection LOQ DoD Limit of Quantitation DL DoD Detection Limit I Indicates reported value is greater than or equal to the Method Detection Limit (MDL) but less than the Report Detection Limit (RDL) (S) Surrogate Compound NC Not Calculated Result outside of QC limits # Please reference the result in the Results Section for analyte-level flags. ND - Not Detected at or above adjusted reporting limit. TNTC - Too Numerous To Count J - Estimated concentration above the adjusted method detection limit and below the adjusted reporting limit. MDL -Adjusted Method Detection Limit. PQL - Practical Quantitation Limit. RL - Reporting Limit - The lowest concentration value that meets project requirements for quantitative data with known precision and bias for a specific analyte in a specific matrix. S - Surrogate 1,2-Diphenylhydrazine decomposes to and cannot be separated from Azobenzene using Method 8270. The result for each analyte is a combined concentration. Consistent with EPA guidelines, unrounded data are displayed and have been used to calculate % recovery and RPD values. LCS(D) - Laboratory Control Sample (Duplicate) MS(D) - Matrix Spike (Duplicate) DUP - Sample Duplicate RPD - Relative Percent Difference NC - Not Calculable. SG - Silica Gel - Clean -Up U - Indicates the compound was analyzed for, but not detected. N-Nitrosodiphenylamine decomposes and cannot be separated from Diphenylamine using Method 8270. The result reported for each analyte is a combined concentration. Reported results are not rounded until the final step prior to reporting. Therefore, calculated parameters that are typically reported as "Total" may vary slightly from the sum of the reported component parameters. Pace Analytical is TNI accredited. This plan utilizes the following methodologies: US EPA SW-846, US EPA Methods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes per 40 CFR Part 136, APHA Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and other recognized methodologies. The analyses with these noted observations are in conformance to the Quality Assurance Plan. In chromatographic analysis, manual integration is frequently used instead of automated integration because it produces more accurate results. The test results present in this report are in compliance with TNI and relative state standards, and/or client Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP). The laboratory has reviewed the following: Sample Preservations, Hold Times, Initial Calibrations, Continuing Calibrations, Method Blanks, Blank Spikes, Blank Spike Duplicates, Duplicates, Matrix Spikes, Matrix Spike Duplicates, Surrogates and Internal Standards. Any results which were found to be outside of the recommended ranges stated in our SOPS will be noted in the Project Narrative. REVIEWED Laurel Stoddard By ESS Laboratory at 4:19 pm, Aug 23, 2023 Laboratory Director Analytical Summary The project as described above has been analyzed in accordance with the ESS Quality Assurance Plan.
