The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes to replace this bridge. This project
is similar in nature to projects processed under the Low Impact Bridge ReplacemenY Program (LIBRP).
Accordingly, the LBRP format has been utilized in the permitting of this project. A site visit was
conducted by USACE on April 9, 2014. Note that construction of this bridge replacement project does
not result in impacts to any Waters of the United States.

defined by FHWA, for Low Impact Bridge Replacements. This project meets the
standards of NCDOT Minimum Criteria Rules.
