This occurs because the specific parameter undergoes testing either biannually or annually. • In all cases where the tested result was BDL or less than (<), 1/2 the DL was used when averaging results. SIU COMPLIANCE STATUS [UP # A005: Erico Incorporated (40 CFR 433) • The facility was inspected on December 13, 2023. The SIU received a rating of "satisfactory". During the inspection, no significant changes were documented. • The SIU continues to maintain a good working relationship with the POTW. • Due to a staffing shortage at their external lab, the four-day run was not completed within the past calendar year. The POTW was notified immediately of the reason for the delay, and a second four-day run was completed as soon as a driver was able to pick it up. • Erico had no violations in 2023; therefore, no NOVs were issued. • Erico's new permit was issued with an effective date of July 1, 2023 and expiration date of June 30, 2028. [UP # A008: Thermal Metal Treating,Inc. (40 CFR 433) • The facility was inspected on December 28, 2023. The SIU received a rating of "satisfactory". During the inspection, no significant changes were documented. • The SIU continues to maintain a good working relationship with the POTW. • Thermal Metal had no violations in 2023; therefore, no NOVs were issued. • Thermal Metal's current permit expires June 30, 2025. The SIU received a rating of "satisfactory". During the inspection, no significant changes were documented. • In February 2023, the flow meter went down. The POTW was immediately informed of the issue. Due to supply chain issues, a replacement flow meter was not immediately available, and waste was stored until the new meter arrived. The new flow meter was installed and calibrated later that month, the stored waste was pretreated and normal operation resumed. • No NOVs were issued for Southeastern Tool & Die in 2023. • Southeastern Tool & Die's current permit expires October 31, 2024.
