The losses were noticed this morning during routine site inspections by DOT staff. The project received 4.95 inches of rain between 10/1 and 10/4, and has also received some additional rain today. The contractor was/ is actively moving material to construct the access roads which has left much of the project uncovered. The contractor has started repairs to some of the erosion control devices damaged during the storm, but most of the streams and wetland site are still covered with water and not easily accessible for cleanup. We will document the sites with photos and start the clean up as soon as the weather permits. Please let me know if you have any questions, or require additional information.
